Red Universitaria de Emprendimiento (REUNE) – has officially joined more than 85 organizations around the world as a national host for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), taking place November 17-23. The organization will serve as the national catalyst for events across Colombia.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is a global movement that celebrates and empowers new founders in every country and community – especially those who face structural barriers or who may have never considered entrepreneurship. Tens of thousands of events around the world will open doors for anyone who has ever wondered, “Could I build something of my own?”
This year’s global theme, “Together We Build,” shines a spotlight on the collective power of community, collaboration, and shared ambition. It invites aspiring founders to explore what’s possible when they join mentors, peers, partners, and supporters to bring ideas to life and build something bigger than themselves.
“This year, we expect cross-country activities during Global Entrepreneurship Week that will highlight Colombia’s thriving ecosystem and connect founders from every single city,” Gloria Marlen Diaz, REUNE National Coordinator
Post-secondary institutions will play a significant role in this year’s campaign, highlighting how entrepreneurial leadership is building impact. In addition to events across the country, students from every university campus will be invited to record short videos sharing powerful stories about their entrepreneurial journeys, products, and companies.
