Monterrey, Nuevo León, November 17, 2023 - The incMTY entrepreneurship, innovation and business festival, held from November 14 to 16, served as the background for selecting the four startups that will be attending the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) in Saudi Arabia, during the summer of 2024.

incMTY and Tecnológico de Monterrey are strategic allies of the Entrepreneurship World Cup, organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Network and Monsha’at. The EWC was first held in 2019 and, since then, has enjoyed the participation of more than 430,000 projects from over 200 countries. The entrepreneurs are supported at every stage —idea stage, early stage, growth stage— and given the necessary tools to grow their project.

After the final pitch of the incMTY Accelerator + Entrepreneurship World Cup Mexico challenge, Grow Farms, Yumari, and Beeok were selected for the EWC 2024, with the surprise announcement during the prize-giving of an additional spot for the startup Forma Foods.

Grow Farms, Forma Foods, Yumari, and Beeok will have access to personalized in-person and virtual sessions to prepare them to attend the Global Final in Saudi Arabia, where more than 200 startups from all over the world will be participating.

In the Idea Stage, Grow Farms and Forma Foods will be representing the region, while Yumari will be participating in the Early Stage category and Beeok in the Growth Stage category.

The Grow Farms startup (Bernardo Martínez) connects farmers, buyers, financial institutions, and government agencies in a single ecosystem, helping users buy, sell, pre-sell and access financial services, logistics services, market intelligence, and carbon footprint offset, all on a single platform.

Forma Foods (Li Lu Lam) is a firm of meat designers, achieved through the effective implementation of their 3D-printing and cell culture technology, designing the future of protein.

Yumari (Andrés Díaz) is the first local and cross-border B2B platform in Latin America. It allows international buyers to access Latin American suppliers by means of a relevance-based matchmaking algorithm, managing local and international logistics and processing transactions to assure security for all parties.

Beeok (Cristian Bustos) is a software as a service (SaaS) for corporate sustainability with Artificial Intelligence and digital tools for ESG, compliance, footprints and waste.

incMTY Accelerator + Entrepreneurship World Cup Mexico is an innovative program of incMTY for the best startups launched in the Latin American marketplace and which offers acceleration, connection and mentoring tools. This type of initiatives allows incMTY to strengthen its mission, as the business, innovation and sustainability hub for Latin America.
